Vivisol Hosts Successful Clinical Engagement Day for NHS Grampian

Last week, Vivisol hosted a productive Clinical Engagement Day, welcoming a delegation of eight clinicians from NHS Grampian to the Stirling Oxygen Filling plant and Warehouse. The event was designed to provide a comprehensive, "end-to-end" overview of the Scottish Home Oxygen Service, fostering closer collaboration between clinical partners and service providers.

The day’s proceedings offered the visiting team a transparent look at the technical and administrative infrastructure supporting patient care. The agenda transitioned from high-level contract management to the practicalities of equipment maintenance and safety:

• Contractual & Administrative Framework: Presentations on NHS Scotland Contracts and the detailed processing of Scottish Home Oxygen Form (SHOOF) orders via Customer Services.
• Operational Logistics: Insights into Field Team Services and the critical role of Quality Assurance in maintaining service excellence.
• Facility Tour: A guided tour of the warehouse and filling plant, led by representatives of the Stirling management team.
• Practical Workshop: A hands-on session focusing on liquid oxygen filling and a review of various equipment modalities available to patients.
